New Features
- You can control iTunes and Winamp by using QuickTab
shortcuts.
- there are keyboard shortcuts for pause/play, next
track, and previous track.
- Current PC-Com users will have to manually set
these up by typing options as a keyword.
- Recommended values are (Hotkey) + 1 to pause/resume
track, (Hotkey) + 2 to skip to previous track, or (Hotkey) + 3 to skip to the next track.
- Letter command macros have been changed to Variable
Macros
- You can now set multiple variables instead of just
one.
- Variable macros have the same form as normal macros
(just a keyword name), and PC-Com will prompt you for values during playback.
- You can now edit a macro's speed, looping options,
and delays at any time, not just after recording it.
- You can open the macro editor by typing macros
[create] as a keyword, clicking Next, and clicking the Edit Macro button.
- New feature to remember a window's size and
position
- This will work for any window on your screen. Just
change the window's size and position to the way you want it, type remember window
coordinates as a keyword in PC-Com. Then make up a name for the keyword.
- When you type the keyword later, PC-Com will change
the coordinates of the topmost window on your screen to the size and position of the
original window.
- New preset keyword -- recently added keywords
will show a list of recently added keywords
- New preset keyword -- menu will open the
PC-Com sytem tray menu
- PC-Com can launch documents in Lotus Notes.
- There is now a Hide all notes feature.
Enhancements
- More QuickTab shortcuts for configuration (6 - 9,
0, F6 - F12)
- Enhanced the mp3 player feature (p [band] - [song])
- You no longer have to separate the artist and song
by typing a dash. Just type any words that are in the filename.
- Example: "p floyd wish" would most likely
play Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.
- The timer/countdown feature was improved for easier
accessibility. New alarm setting

Bug Fixes
- Computers that had an Asian character set installed
may have had a Command List with all targets of preset:standby
- Duplicate items in a row in the history list
- Macros run smoother, and they no longer skip
delays.
- Notes do not keep the same size when PC-Com is
reloaded
- Notes appear cleaner and no longer distort the
darker section at the top of a note.
PC-Com 7.53:

that leads to a folder), then type a comma, followed by a search query, and press Enter.
example: c:\program files,pc-com will search for pc-com in your Program Files
folder and in subdirectories.

- bug fix: note reminders brought up error message that closed PC-Com if the time was
typed in the wrong format.

stay on top.

PC-Com 7.34:
- Bug fix: Previously, if your computer froze while you had notes on your screen, there
was a chance that the notes could be lost. This glitch was fixed in the new version. Your
notes are now continually saved on your hard drive as you write them.
- New feature: Reminder keyword
Instead of creating a note, right-clicking the top, and then deleting the note, you can
now set a reminder just by typing the keyword, reminder, in PC-Com.
- New feature: Looping macros
You can now loop a macro for as long as you want.
- You can now make functions apply to the "top most" window instead of pointing
to a window with your mouse. This feature is optional, and you can activate it by clicking
the Functions tab in the Options window.
- The troubleshooting/tutorials help file was improved.
