Missing Files Download Section

If you installed AOL Tools or PC-Com and received an error message while loading it, you may need to download certain Windows files to correct it.   Most of these files are included in Windows, but they might be outdated if you do not download software that often.

Note: For the files to work correctly, please download them to your System folder.  If you are using Windows 95/98/ME, this is usually located in C:\Windows\System.  For NT/XP users, it is usually C:\Windows\System32.

 

Systray.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered.

Download and install the VB 5.0 Run-time files to correct the problem:

Run-time error 339
Component ‘comdlg32.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Download comdlg32.ocx to your Sytem folder by clicking the link: www.boletrice.com/downloads/comdlg32.ocx.   After downloading, register the file by clicking Start - Run, and type "Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\comdlg32.ocx"

 

Run-time error 372
Failed to load control 'Common Dialog' from comdlg32.ocx.  Your version may be outdated.  Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

To fix this problem, download comdlg32.ocx to your Windows/System folder by clicking the link below.

Run-time error 339: MSCOMCTL.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered.
